All India Bhojpuri Society Marks PM Modi’s Birthday with Cleanliness and Plantation Drive

Lucknow: The All India Bhojpuri Society observed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as a day of service and cleanliness by organising a cleanliness and environmental conservation drive at the Chhath Ghat on the Gomti riverbank at Laxman Mela Maidan on Thursday.

Led by society national president Prabhunath Rai, members and office-bearers participated in a voluntary cleanliness drive, cleaning the Chhath Ghat and portions of the Gomti riverbank. As part of the initiative, participants also planted trees under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign and pledged to contribute towards environmental conservation and cleanliness.

The programme also included discussions on Modi’s public service journey and his 25 years of service. Participants wished for his long life and well-being.

Those present included vice-president Ramtan Yadav, national general secretary Manoj Singh, national secretary Ved Prakash Rai, adviser Manish Poddar, adviser Manoj Rai, folk singer Awadhesh, S.P. Chauhan, Suresh Kushwaha, Vikram Kushwaha and Kapil Dev Kushwaha, among others.
